The lowest-priced brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging where packaging is applicable. It brought back so many memories for me of my growing up years in the Heartland of this great country! We read each page then would discuss the pictures. I would recommend this book for anyone who would like to learn more about the United States.

Minor’s art has been exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Ueartland Rockwell Museum, among other prestigious institutions. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, he serves on the Advisory Council for the Connecticut Center for the Book, and is a member of The Children’s Book Council CBCa non-profit trade organization dedicated to encouraging literacy and the use and enjoyment of children’s books.
She really enjoyed the poem rhyming of the text, as did I. It is a land where wheat fields grow and cornfields stretch across the plains to create a patchwork quilt in hues of yellow, green, and brown; a Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets 2 by J.
No trivia or quizzes yet. But mostly it was the illustrations by Wendell Minor that made the book. Illustrating books for naturalist authors Jean Craighead George and Diane Siebert, among others, he approaches his art by sieebert and experiencing each environment he illustrates.
